Going Across the Sea
I filmed this video in the 5 countries that I visited during my European tour in 2019 including Ireland, England, Austria, Finland, and Portugal. The song title “Going Across the Sea” inspired me to capture beautiful scenery as I traveled across the sea.
I filmed this video six years ago and never edited or released it until now!
I recorded the traditional tune “Going Across the Sea” on my ‘Howdy Y’all’ album which I released in 2020. It’s available for streaming wherever you listen to music, and it’s available for purchase from my website.
Fun Fact: If you listen to the audio recording of “Going Across the Sea,” you might notice that the sound of my footwork is missing. I originally released the music without footwork. For this video, I needed to add the sound of my footwork in order to match what you see visually in the video. I wish I had recorded the sound of my footwork on my first two albums. Do you think I should re-release the music and add the sounds of my footwork?
Hillary Klug to Perform at Baker Creek Seed Festival April 6th & 7th
This weekend, I’m performing in Mansfield, MO. Be sure to check out the “events” page of my website for more details. I’m looking forward to this event because I’m performing with my friend Brenna MacMillan and my husband Evan Winsor. We’ll do a lot of traveling and hanging out together which I love. This event is at a farm with lots of animals that I can’t wait to see. I’d love to see y’all at the event. I’ll have my CDs with me for sale, and I might even bring my Dancing Fiddler CD.
