My First News Update!!

Feb 3rd 2025

  • What to Expect

I’m so excited to create my first ever blog post to share with y’all all my latest news! I’m planning to post a new update every one or two weeks as I have time and news to share with y’all. I’m going to share the same information in my newsletters, but it’ll be more concise. This blog offers a space where I can go into detail! Plus, if you missed a newsletter, all the information will be here for you to catch up on anytime. I appreciate y’all taking time to learn more, and I hope you enjoy all the news I have to share!

  • NEW Single This Friday!

Y’all know I’m long overdue for new music. I haven’t released any new music since 2020. And so, this week is very special because I’m releasing the first single from my upcoming record “Dancing Fiddler.” The new song is called, “Black Eyed Susie,” and it features my friend Bronwyn Keith-Hynes on fiddle and vocals! I can’t wait for y’all to hear it. I’m also releasing a full-length music video on YouTube featuring Bronwyn Keith-Hynes and Victor Furtado on banjo!

You’ll get to listen to my new single completely for free from any streaming platform! If you want to support my music, I would really appreciate your help promoting my new single, and it’s super easy. All you have to do is pre-save my single, and when it’s released on Friday, all you have to do is listen to the entire song. That would greatly help boost my algorithm and help my song get placed on a playlist. Additionally, if you could share the single with your friends, that would really help spread awareness, and it would boost the algorithm and help get my song in front of more people.

  • I Signed A Record Deal!

Guess what? I just signed a radio distribution deal with a 615Hideaway (it’s the perfect record deal for an Indie artist like myself)! The record label is going to get my music played on the radio! My music has never been on the radio, and so this is an exciting new venture for me. Y’all will be able to listen to my music on the XM radio bluegrass station! 🥳

  • NEW Full-Length Music Video on YouTube!

As y’all might know, it’s been a while since I’ve released a fill-length music video on YouTube. This previously unreleased video is from 2019! I filmed this video in Boston when I was 26, and I never edited or posted it until now! It’s a video of me performing my original tune “13 Day to Nashville” which I recorded on my previous record, “Howdy Y’all”.

  • YouTube Award!

I’ve been working on my YouTube channels, and I’m about to hit 100k subscribers on my 2nd channel! That means I’ll receive the YouTube award! I only need 800 more subscribers!

I’ve completely revamped my channels with updated information and posting tons of content from other platforms. I’ve made tons of videos for other social media platforms, but YouTube didn’t have a space for me to post these videos until now. You can now see all my new/old videos in the “Shorts” sections of my YouTube channels.

If you want to help me earn my YouTube award, you can subscribe to my 2nd channel here!

  • Upcoming “Dancing Fiddler” Album

As many of y’all know, I successfully crowdfunded this album on Kickstarter last year! I’m planning to release a new single from the album every 8 weeks this year. I don’t have a release date for the album, but I know that I want to give my email subscribers early access! Be sure to subscribe if you haven’t already!

  • New Website!

I completely redesigned my website because I have some exciting things I want to do with it very soon! You can access my new website at “HillaryKlug.com” which is the same address as the old website! Don’t be too surprised when it looks completely different! I’m excited, and I can’t wait to share the exciting plans I have for my website! Stay tuned to find out!

P.S. My new website might contain a few errors I missed. Please bear with me as I continue to optimize this website and make corrections! I’d appreciate any feedback and suggestions y’all have! Please let me know!

I really do have the best fans in the world, and your support means the world to me. Thank you so much for taking the time to read my first blog post!
